By default, you will share a room with a fellow traveler of the same gender. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped. If you prefer a private room, you can request it for an additional cost (subject to availability).

A lot! In addition to the overnight stays and the program, your visa for Tanzania and the mandatory local travel insurance are fully included in the travel sum. This means no hassle with extra paperwork or unexpected costs. Please check our term of use for the full overview.
The trip is a great balance between action and relaxation. We head out regularly, but there is always plenty of room to stick to the relaxed rhythm of Zanzibar ('pole pole').
Definitely! The hotel has lovely swimming pools and lounge terraces where you can perfectly unwind. There is enough space in the schedule to do your own thing or simply enjoy the sun.
Absolutely! Most travelers book solo. Because of the small-scale setup and the informal atmosphere, it is very easy to connect with the rest of the group.
We keep it personal and cozy: the group consists of a maximum of 12 people. This is the ideal size to build a close bond as a group without losing the small-scale feel of the locations.
Safety is our priority. The hotel is a secure environment with very friendly, local staff. Additionally, the mandatory local travel insurance is included, providing extra peace of mind during your stay on the island.
Our biggest impact comes from choosing a local hotel. This ensures that the proceeds from your stay flow directly back into the local economy and support employment on the island. We also opt for small-scale tours and aim to keep plastic use to a minimum.
To secure your reservation, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance must be fully paid no later than 4 weeks before departure.
Zanzibar and the hotel are incredibly photogenic! We love helping each other capture the best shots for the feed. However, we always ask to be respectful of the privacy of the local people.
